Today was yet another day of God working, starting with a Sunday morning service at the San Jose church. The worship was amazing; the team was on fire for God. We all danced at the front of the sanctuary, and we prayed over the people standing around us. God's presence was in that room, just like we prayed it would be.
The kids went to their own snack, game, and lesson time with some of our spectacular team. The adults and teens stayed for their own service.
After service, some of our team took a walk to invite women to our afternoon coffee and talk time. Women brought their children, so the teenagers played with them, giving them lollipops and fruit snacks. Ray Bohner entertained some of them with his balloon art and illusion things. As the women of our team shared their testimonies with the women at the coffee hour, the guys worked on putting a roof on the bathrooms behind the church.
The women at the coffee hour were touched by the stories that had been shared. They were told that they had worth in Jesus Christ. That, for some of them, was a new idea. There are women stuck in abusive homes that want hope, hope that Jesus brings.
As we get ready to work on our second to last day, God's ready to do great things. Love to all of you back at home!

Hello All! How you all holding up? I hope you were surprised and blessed by your care packages from home! The pics on this post are great! I especially love the ones of the women's ministry. Beira you truly captured the moment. Such emotion. You can see that God was moving! Brian I also love the pic of you with the two little kiddos. It's so great! Donna, I went by your house yesterday to feed your fish. All is well there. Ray, I mowed the grass today so you can stop worrying that it will be a foot high when you get home...love you and I'm ready for you to get home already!! Linda and Candy, saw your kiddos today at camp registration. They got there safe and sound. Christine, I saw Jimmy and your nephew last night. I think Jimmy is anxious for you to get home. Jeanette I was thinking of you today and praying for your Mom's heart as you are probably missing Arabella and Linky Doodle pretty badly by now. Beira, I'm sure you feel the same. It was great to see a pic of you, the one always behing the camera, finally in a pic on the blog. Well one more day left. Get a good night's rest and go out and give it your all. May the Lord bless, and make His face shine upon you and give you peace. Brenda
