Day 2

Our wifi has been very spotty and we are short on time but we wanted to share some photos from day 2. We will update with text at breakfast if we can get on wifi in the dining room. Day 2 was awesome and powerful. God has been with us every step of the way.

UPDATE:
On day 2 we continued taking in all of the beauty and nature all around us. There were a few cows roaming on the property next to our motel...this one didn't like the camera much and stuck it's tongue out at me.

The plan was for VBS from 10 am at a nearby field from the church where we ministered the previous evening. We met with the teens and pastor Leo (the pastor of the local church where we ministered) and walked a short distance to a local field area. We set up different stations for the children where they could enjoy a craft, snack time, games, face-painting, and photo opportunity (Polaroid)

  5. Hey Team!! I'm trying to be your #1 blog follower! Can you tell!?! Seriously, I know how much it meant to me when I was on the receiving end of the encouraging comments sent from home when you are sitting around having your family time, so that is my goal, to bring encouragement your way or a smile to your face. Speaking of smiling faces, that's what I had when I was looking at your day 2 pics. Thanks so much to Beira and Kayla for keeping us here at home connected to what's happening with you all. Even if it is just a glimpse. I loved the picture of Jeanette, Jen and Kellie in the sack race. It looked super fun. Ray, I see you had the kids intrigued with your balloon salvation message!! So cool! I also love the pics where some of you are sitting in the water trying to beat the heat. It looked very refreshing. I have been praying for God to refresh you and it looks like He did! Today as I was asking God what I could write here, He impressed upon my heart to speak to any insecurities any of you may be feeling and remind you to let your identity not your insecurity be what you focus on. Your identity is in Christ, so therefore lean on everything that is yours in Him! In Him we have redemption, in Him we have an inheritance, in Him you are sealed with the Holy Spirit, in Him you have power to overcome any plan of the enemy!! Don't let the enemy steal your identity!! Finally, Christine, I felt very burdened to encourage you as the head leader of the team. I hope you can feel all the prayers coming your way from home and that they would help you to feel like Moses when he couldn't hold his arms up any longer and Aaron and Hur supported them for him. May the support of all of our prayers encourage you today my friend. God Bless all of you and my you feel strengthened by our prayers as well.
    In Him, Brenda
